PartMiner CAPSXpert

PartMiner's Free Trade Zone online marketplace included the CAPSXpert™ database comprised of millions of components -- semiconductor, passive and active components, interconnect devices, and discontinued components.

The CAPSXpert/PartMiner integrated solution not only provided designers, engineers, and buyers the means to compare components by technical characteristics across manufacturers, it provided them with an elegant solution for identifying suppliers that could deliver competitively priced parts to meet production schedules.

CAPSXpert could quickly validate part numbers, determine their cross-references, and identify manufacturers and alternate sources. This powerful integrated Web-based desktop tool dramatically reduced research time leading to cost savings and decreasing the time it takes to bring products to market.

The database provided a variety of ways to search parts, including their documentation and cross-references by: Part Number (including complete, partial generic and wild-carded), Keyword(s), Manufacturer Name or Logo and Document Type (datasheet, end-of-life notice, product change notice, etc.). Additionally, the database had powerful parametric search capabilities.

The Terabase®/SRF software, providing a powerful way to select data based on a large number of potential parameters that match specific search criteria. Parametric searching provided the ability to limit the search, while guiding the customer through the process of selecting additional characteristics associated with the parts selected. By using parametric searching, the customer was able to focus in on the particular features of the part that met acquisition needs.
