Terabase Announces Terabase/SRF for Windows


Danvers, Mass (May 2005) - Terabase Corporation has announced the release of Terabase/SRF for Windows .

This new version, which is a completely new port of the Terabase/SRF for OpenVMS toolkit, is designed to provide the high performance search engine software on lower-cost Windows-based platforms.

Using standard Microsoft development tools, Terabase was able to port the software relatively quickly.  The system is file-compatible with the OpenVMS version, making it easy to transfer applications from OpenVMS systems to Windows-based servers.

"We've built a number of demonstration applications with the software, and we've proven that this software is extremely reliable and efficient for those customers that cannot afford our larger-scale OpenVMS systems."
